Wild Persimmons #1 2012
SOLD
Years ago I painted wild persimmons every year for four or five years in a row. Then life kept getting in the way for the last half a dozen or so years and by the time I could get to them the season had passed. This year I hit the season at prime time, so there will be a lot of persimmon paintings. Hope they don't bore you.

This is not the first time I have painted a eggplant or a egg shell. I have done a few over the years and I have liked most all of them, but this is the first time that they were not playing a supporting part. I enjoyed painting this one.
